Created in 2022, as an update to the 4744/4746, the ÖBB 4748 ‘Cityjet’ EMU is also based on the Desiro family of trains. Built by ÖBB-Technische Services in Vienna this unit can carry more passengers than its predecessors, featuring a four-car set up. Widely used for Regional and S-Bahn services this can be seen on the rails throughout Austria.
Recreated here for Train Simulator Classic this stylish EMU features an authentic model, complete with passenger areas and a detailed cab with realistic controls covering loco operation, safety systems and more.
